Definition of metal oxides
- Aug 22, 2016 -

Metal oxides is defined by metal oxide composed of 2 elements with oxygen elements such as sodium and oxygen to form sodium oxide.

Basic oxides are oxides and acid react to form a salt and water.

Basic oxides must be metal oxide, calcium oxide, sodium oxide, magnesium oxide, barium oxide, iron oxide, copper oxide, most metal oxides are basic oxides, alumina, zinc oxide and other exceptions, gender oxides, metal oxides cannot be said must be alkaline oxides, such as Mn2O7 is a metal oxide, it is acidic oxides, permanganate is the acid.

Active metal oxides are Ionic compounds, forming ionic crystals, high melting and boiling points.

Metal oxide is an important catalyst, has been widely used in catalysis, after the metal oxide and its catalytic performance better, predictably, will be the catalyst for an important direction of development of nano metal oxide.
